Talent that grows from hands-on practice

Culture and Talent
Benjamín Navarrete, Keypro Ingeniería

Benjamín Navarrete arrived at Keypro as an intern with a clear idea: to learn, get involved and make the most of every opportunity. Today, almost four years after that first day, his path is a good reflection of how we understand professional growth at Keypro.

A civil engineer in civil works from UTEM, Benjamín started out working on technical documents, reports and calculation notes. Over time —and thanks to his commitment and curiosity— he took on new challenges, joined client meetings and moved towards project coordination, playing a key role in technical and operational management alongside the leadership team. That progression was recently consolidated with his promotion to Engineer B in April this year, a reflection of his development and his contribution to the team.

What he values most about his work is precisely that chance to learn by doing. At Keypro it is not just about delivering a document, but about understanding the whole project, giving an informed opinion, listening and taking on real responsibility when it comes up. That early exposure and trust are an essential part of our development model.

Benja has also experienced work on site, gathering information and connecting design with operational reality. From technical visits to less conventional experiences —such as riding up a hill on horseback— the field has been an important part of his training and of the way he understands applied engineering.

Outside work he keeps the same appetite for learning: he enjoys sport, hiking up hills, filming the city with his drone for @vizio.dron, experimenting as a DJ and spending time with his inseparable companion, Polly, his German shepherd. That balance between the technical and the personal is part of what keeps him motivated and growing.

At Keypro we believe that talent is shaped by real challenges, trust and an environment where people can develop, contribute and evolve. Stories like Benjamín’s reflect the way we work: continuous learning, closeness, collaboration and technical excellence, always with people at the center.
