Good decisions start with a good estimate

Culture and Talent

In engineering, the success of a project depends not only on the design, but also on estimating how much it costs and how long it takes to deliver.

At Keypro, the Estimating team plays a strategic role from the earliest stages of a study, providing the key information our clients need to make well-founded decisions, aligned with the conditions and constraints of each project.

That is where you will find Roberto Ferrada, a 33-year-old civil engineer and part of a team that combines technical analysis, market knowledge and an all-round view of engineering. His main job is to turn drawings, quantity take-offs and design criteria into solid cost and schedule estimates, taking into account variables such as resources, industry productivity rates, economic projections and contingencies.

The result is clear for our clients: well-defined projects, not only in technical terms but also in economic ones.

Roberto has grown along with the company, within a culture built on collaboration and constant learning. He is methodical and rigorous in his work, driven to keep developing and to contribute more and more from roles of greater responsibility.

Outside the office he swaps his desk for the pitch: he plays football as a centre-back and, being from Temuco, keeps a strong bond with the south of Chile and the outdoors.

At Keypro we believe that quality engineering comes from people with judgment, experience and commitment. The work of the Estimating team —and of professionals like Roberto— is key to delivering solutions with real value for our clients.
