Aqueduct capacity increase

Profile engineering to increase an aqueduct’s capacity to 1,450 l/s through a comprehensive analysis of bottlenecks across different sections of the system. It included hydraulic evaluation of velocities, pressures and transients, identification of operational constraints and definition of the maximum transportable flow. CAPEX and OPEX estimates, risk and pipe wear analyses were developed, along with the conceptual design of pumping stations and an implementation program for different operating scenarios.
